Beckley Lodge is again proud to announce, we have sponsored another State Youth Awareness winner. Thomas Wallace III, a senior at Independence High School, has won Second place in the West Virginia Moose Association Youth Awareness Congress for 1999. Thomas will also be going to Niagara Falls, N.Y. April 29 thru May 3. Three students will receive scholarships of $7000.00, $3000.00 and $2000.00. The $7000.00 winner will also win a trip to the International Moose Convention and speak there. If you remember, our last year winner Kari Farley went to Toronto Canada.

During the International competition in Niagara Falls, New York, Thomas brought home First Place and is the winner of the $7000.00 scholarship from Moose International. Beckley Lodge is very proud of him and will donate additional money to his $7000.00 scholarship. Way to go Thomas, and Congratulations Beckley for another winner..........TWO IN A ROW!!!
