Dear Brothers:

Finally a dream is becoming a reality, the Board of Officers of Beckley Lodge #1606, Loyal Order of Moose is desirous of building a new Moose home on our property on New River Drive. A new Moose home has been in discussion since 1965. The Board of Officers for the past four or five years has worked hard to make the dream come true. At the present time we have completed a loan confirmation with the Bank of Mount Hope and the Bank of Yeager.

Our next step is to receive membership approval to proceed with the loan. Therefore at our meeting on Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at 8pm, we will ask for a vote of approval by the membership. Any questions the membership may have will be answered prior to voting plus all information along with the blue prints of our new 'proposed' Moose home will be available to the membership. Please voice your opinion by attending the above meeting since the lodge is considering a sizable loan.

On May 19, 1999,

The membership approved the loan and the construction of our building on New River Drive.
Projected date of completion is October/December 1999.
The Building is Approximately 16,000 sq. ft.
